Being a mom and being able to pursue your passion for your business is an incredible experience. It allows you to have the flexibility to be there for your family while also doing something you love. But let’s face it, sometimes it can be tough. Balancing your time between work, family, and continuously trying to get clients, especially when you’re starting out, can be a struggle.

Starting a business is not for the faint of heart. It requires dedication, hard work, and persistence. You need to have a clear vision of what you want to achieve and be willing to put in the effort to make it happen.

There are no shortcuts or magic formulas to make piles of cash appear in your bank account overnight. You have to work really hard at a few things and anyone telling you different is trying to sell you something. As Russel Brunson once said, “Successful people are not gifted; they just work hard, then succeed on purpose.”

So, why do we keep falling for courses and programs that promise quick and easy success? It’s because we want instant gratification. We want success now, and we want it fast. But that’s just not how it works. Would it be as appealing to read posts or sales pages about people’s failures and crushed dreams?

Not a chance. Instead, we are inundated on social media with stories of unicorn coaches and consultants that made their first million dollars in 6 months.

Here’s the truth about entrepreneurship that isn’t mentioned nearly enough – it’s going to be hard, and quick success is rare. You have to go in fully understanding that failure is possible. But, not let that fear hold you back.

Being an entrepreneur takes courage. Without risk, there is no reward, and without failure, there is no knowledge. Learn from it, grow from it, and move forward.

The key to success is being willing to put in the work. While a lot of courses and programs being sold promise minimal work, it just isn’t reality. Sure, there are rare exceptions.

But ask most successful entrepreneurs how their days looked when they were just starting out, and I’m willing to bet that they included heading into their office or sitting at their kitchen table before the sun was up and shutting down their laptop well after it went back down.

But don’t let that discourage you. Success is possible if you’re willing to dedicate time to building your business.

As a Christian entrepreneur, success is not just about financial gain. It’s about creating a life that aligns with your values, and one that brings you joy and fulfillment. It’s about serving others and making a positive impact in the world.

So, as you work hard and pursue your dreams, remember to keep your faith at the center of it all. Take time for prayer and reflection, and trust in God’s plan for your life and your business.

Finally, as a successful entrepreneur, you must constantly learn. A successful entrepreneur is never done learning — she is constantly looking to absorb information and insight.

Even with little to no free time, a successful entrepreneur is making time to read books, network with like-minded people, and establish relationships with mentors and influencers. There is no “off” switch, especially when it comes to learning.

As Brendan Burchard once said, “The moment you stop learning, you stop leading.”

In conclusion, mompreneurship is hard, but don’t let that scare you. Embrace the journey, work hard, and always be willing to learn. Keep your faith at the center of it all, and as a wise woman once said, “Successful entrepreneurship is about having an idea and a plan to execute it with excellence.”

So go out there, mama, and execute your plan with excellence!
